Simple abundance on my 'stay-cation'

'Stay-cation' with my daughter for nine whole days is where I've found some Simple Abundance. Blessed that I not only enjoy every minute I'm spending with my lovely daughter but how she makes me feel so special. She's such an awesome young lady & best friend both.

Amy's Spring Tea on Saturday was so much fun! Candi & I were included to help Amy preparing. My cup of life really over flowed with smiles all day long... Went to a few Tag-sales Saturday  morning where I met some very sweet ladies. One lady was really N2 scrap booking and I bought some darling little boxes for bracelets to share at the tea. She smiled when I shared what they would be used for.

On Sunday after Mass at Prince of Peace Parish I attended church service with Amy, Chris, Karen (Chris' mom), Darian and Cody at Indian Creek. It was awesome spending Mother's day with my daughter & her family. A treat was Indian Creek took professional family photos which included one with just Amy & I and Chris and his Mom. The best part was being together and after Church the guys fixed us a scrumptious spaghetti lunch.

What I've enjoyed thus far on my 'stay-cation' is absolutely EVERYTHING! I encourage you to do the same the first time the opportunity arises. Thus far my days have been spent being with family, taken long walks, writing, finishing the scrap book of journal pages of the memories of our Farm Garage Sale in June. I still have five more days with some more 'want to dos'. God is so good to me.

I'm much more aware of the importance to get a way whether it be for rest, relaxation, exercise, play or to carving some time out to accomplish an important goal. Today, after a fun excursion to Weston, MO, Chris, Amy & I enjoyed a very delicious fish dinner and shared the bottle of wine purchased at a winery in Weston today. After dinner we listened to a very old album of Orchestra music of 'Paris Memories' which was quite awesome. Just wishing that my hubby was here with me to share in the fun. Getting on my knees in prayer this morning is certainly where this day began. Again, God is so good to me.
