'Stay-cation' with my daughter for nine whole days is where I've found some Simple Abundance. Blessed that I not only enjoy every minute I'm spending with my lovely daughter but how she makes me feel so special. She's such an awesome young lady & best friend both.
Amy's Spring Tea on Saturday was so much fun! Candi & I were included to help Amy preparing. My cup of life really over flowed with smiles all day long... Went to a few Tag-sales Saturday morning where I met some very sweet ladies. One lady was really N2 scrap booking and I bought some darling little boxes for bracelets to share at the tea. She smiled when I shared what they would be used for.
On Sunday after Mass at Prince of Peace Parish I attended church service with Amy, Chris, Karen (Chris' mom), Darian and Cody at Indian Creek. It was awesome spending Mother's day with my daughter & her family. A treat was Indian Creek took professional family photos which included one with just Amy & I and Chris and his Mom. The best part was being together and after Church the guys fixed us a scrumptious spaghetti lunch.
What I've enjoyed thus far on my 'stay-cation' is absolutely EVERYTHING! I encourage you to do the same the first time the opportunity arises. Thus far my days have been spent being with family, taken long walks, writing, finishing the scrap book of journal pages of the memories of our Farm Garage Sale in June. I still have five more days with some more 'want to dos'. God is so good to me.
I'm much more aware of the importance to get a way whether it be for rest, relaxation, exercise, play or to carving some time out to accomplish an important goal. Today, after a fun excursion to Weston, MO, Chris, Amy & I enjoyed a very delicious fish dinner and shared the bottle of wine purchased at a winery in Weston today. After dinner we listened to a very old album of Orchestra music of 'Paris Memories' which was quite awesome. Just wishing that my hubby was here with me to share in the fun. Getting on my knees in prayer this morning is certainly where this day began. Again, God is so good to me.

If not now...when?
The last evening of February 28, 2013. The perfect day to begin sharing my N2 Simple Abundance life. I hope that you will join me and share what you have discovered or are discovering on your journey. Since 1997 I've been N2 trying to discover my authentic self and it wouldn't...couldn't have happened without Sarah Ban Breathnach's loving inspiring book 'Simple Abundance'.
Kinda going to go backwards (from where I am now...in my birthday month of February) because I am so excited.
One assignment suggest that you 'sometime through the year' purchase yourself a birthday present, wrap it up beautifully and put away to be opened by you on your birthday. A little corny...well it's something very worth while doing I can testify. Of course it would be the perfect present because who knows best what you really want? Who knows best what it would be to tickle your fancy but you. This was sort of a double assignment and you find out more in the photo caption.
| My Hobby Lobby 40%off coupon bought a delightful little frame A beautiful birthday card which included a teabag was attached. |
I mentioned this was a double assignment as I framed a picture of me as a child. This to me is a reminder of the 'little girl' within. As I shared with a friend, this is a photo of me before my Mother and real Dad fell out of love. I look happy don't I. I vaguely remember the entire family getting really dressed up for pictures. This was a really big deal as I had three brothers and two sisters.
